Frequently asked questions
We have gathered the questions IT managers and security leads ask us most often before starting a project: how to engage, what it costs, how information is protected and what happens afterward.
Before starting a project
Most of the questions we receive share the same origin: how to make a good infrastructure or security decision without yet knowing the exact scope. That is why we suggest starting with a diagnostic meeting, where we review your situation and tell you what to do first.
If your question is not here, write to us from the contact page or book a meeting.

About the cloud
The most common questions about the cloud concern cost, security and dependence on a provider. On cost, the key is design: a well-sized architecture, with tags and budgets, keeps spending under control month by month. On security, providers protect their physical infrastructure, but configuring access and data is each organization’s responsibility. On dependence, we document every solution and prefer standard components where possible, so your organization keeps its options open.

About security
Organizations often ask whether a security assessment can affect their systems, what they receive at the end and how often it should be repeated. All tests are carried out with written authorization and scope, in agreed windows. At the end you receive a technical report, an executive summary and a prioritized remediation plan. We recommend periodic vulnerability assessments and a penetration test at least once a year.
More details on our cybersecurity page.
About the managed service
Before delegating operations, organizations want to know which systems are included, how problems are reported, how quickly they are handled and whether they lose control of their infrastructure. All of that is defined in a written service agreement. Your organization keeps ownership of the accounts and administrative access, approves major changes and receives periodic reports with everything that was done.
More details on our managed services page.
About business continuity
The most important question is not whether you have backups, but how long it would take to be operational again. To answer it we define with each area the maximum downtime and acceptable data loss, and test the plan with drills. More details on our business continuity page.
About email and collaboration
The usual questions about Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace concern losing emails during migration, licensing and account security. We copy the history before the change, schedule the domain cutover at a low-activity time and enable multi-factor authentication for every user. More details on business productivity.
About compliance
Organizations often ask whether we provide legal advice and whether we certify standards. We take care of the technical side of compliance, such as access control, logging, backup and evidence, and coordinate legal interpretation with your counsel. Certification is granted by an accredited body; we prepare your organization for it. More details on compliance and governance.

Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your answer? Contact us.
Does the diagnostic meeting have a cost?
The first meeting is to understand your needs and explain how we could help. If the work requires a deeper technical assessment, we detail it in a proposal before starting.
How is the cost of a project calculated?
By scope: number of systems, technical complexity, required availability and timelines. We send you a proposal with the project cost and, for cloud services, an estimate of the monthly platform spend.
How long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on the number of systems and their dependencies. After the inventory we give you a schedule by stages, with change windows agreed with your team.
How do you protect our information during the project?
We sign confidentiality agreements, use individual and temporary access with multi-factor authentication, and log every change. At the end, access is removed or transferred to your team.
What if we are not satisfied with a deliverable?
Each stage has acceptance criteria defined in the proposal. If a deliverable does not meet them, we correct it before moving to the next stage.
Do you provide support after the project?
Yes. We include a period of follow-up support and, if you need it, continue with a managed service with monitoring, support and periodic reports.
Do you work with the public sector?
Yes. We serve universities and public institutions following government procurement procedures, with acceptance reports for each deliverable.
Do you sell cloud or Microsoft 365 licenses?
We can advise you on the right plans and arrange the purchase through the appropriate channel, or work with the licenses and accounts your organization already has.
Do you work outside Lima?
Yes. Most of the work is done remotely and securely, and we arrange visits when the project requires it.
Do you deliver technical documentation?
Yes. Each project ends with documented diagrams, procedures, configurations and access, which stay with your organization.
Can you review a project done by another provider?
Yes. We review the architecture, security, backup and documentation of platforms implemented by third parties, and give you our observations with prioritized recommendations.
What happens to access when the project ends?
It is removed or transferred to your team, as agreed. We give you the list of administrative accounts and verify that your organization controls all of them.
Can you train our team?
Yes. Knowledge transfer is part of every project, and we can organize additional sessions on cloud operations, security or disaster recovery.
How do we communicate during the project?
A communication lead is appointed on each side, follow-up meetings are agreed and progress reports are delivered by stage. Changes to production systems are announced in advance.
